Growing our own salad and herbs in a small space gives us the biggest reward for our time and effort in the garden. By focussing on what is best fresh and what costs the most to buy, we get the satisfaction of eating home grown every day. Small can mean selective, succulent and successful. There’s lots to learn and lots to like about gardening this way.
