spring seed sowing sessions

This is a fun, practical workshop to get your seeds sown. I provide the seeds, the soil and the pots. In 90 minutes you’ll learn and practice how to sow seeds that free you from the limitations and costs of buying seedlings from garden centres. Buying seedlings is often an easy and quick way to fill your garden. However they’re expensive and don’t offer the variety open to you if you know how to sow seeds. And for anything with a root (carrots, beetroot, turnips, parsnips, radishes to name but a few), they don’t work.

Guidance and notes on how and when to sow all sorts of seeds for edible crops, ideas for how to get the most from your space, advice on how to make the most of your own seedlings. Plus ideas for sprouting and microgreens. Don’t delay, make a date to get your seeds sown as places are limited.

Take away your seeds sown in pots, seeds to sow in your own garden and a plan for sowing for the rest of the season. Suitable for beginners or experienced gardeners who need something to get them started.
